On December 7, we had a good guest at the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute, when the Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture, Svandís Svavarsdóttir, visited the institute together with the Secretary of State Benedikt Árnason, Áslaug Eir Hólmgeirsdóttir, office manager and Iðunn Garðarsdóttir, Svandís' assistant.

The guests boarded the research ship Árni Friðriksson, visited the house and greeted the employees of Fornubúðir 5.

After that, a meeting was held with the Executive Board where the operations and the main projects carried out by the Marine Research and Freshwater Institute were introduced, as well as discussing the challenges of the coming years.
