Students of the GRÓ Fisheries Training Programme will in the coming days present the research projects they have been working on over the winter. The presenatations take place at the main lecture hall of the Marine and Freshwater Research Institute´s headquarter, at Fornubudir, 5 Hafnarfjordur, and online.

Many of these projects have been carried out in collaboration with experts from Hafró, which actually is responsible for two of the programme’s four lines of specialization: The Stock Assessment line, managed by Warsha Singh, ecologist at the pelagic division, and the Sustainable Aquaculture line, led by Theódór Kristjánsson, specialist in genetics.

The presentations are open to all and are, of course, particularly relevant for those interested in issues concerning developing countries, fisheries, and aquaculture. Attendance is possible in person or online.

Programme and further information about the presentations can be found on the website of the Fisheries Training Programme here. Note that the link to the online meetings is set above each day´s programme with the words: "Join on-line here"
