“Open Sea Lab 3.0 Hackathon”

“Open Sea Lab 3.0 Hackathon”

EMODnet is a network of organisations in Europe that work together to observe the sea, process the data according to international standards and make that information freely available as interoperable data layers and data products.

MFRI now participates through the EMODnet Ingestion project (https://www.emodnet-ingestion.eu/) and various Icelandic data are now available through the web portal.

MFRI would like to promote the Open Sea Lab 3.0 Hackathon, an event funded by the European Union. The Hackathon takes place on 27-28th of March 2023 and will allow participants to live test EMODnet’s data resources and services in the marine environment and to create and share innovative ideas.

If you are interested in participating, please find the detail of the events here: https://opensealab.eu/ and watch the video below to get more information on EMODnet.

Following the event, selected participants from the three winning teams will be invited to European Maritime Day 2023 (held in Brest, France, on 24-25 May 2023) to showcase and present their winning solutions.
